The National Testing Agency declares the results JEE Main separately for January and April session in online mode. Students can check the direct link to check their JEE Main result once it is declared by the NTA.
Students can check the result by login either by using their Application Number and Password or with Application Number and Date of Birth.
For each session, the JEE Main result will be declared in the form of score card containing four NTA scores: one each for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The fourth is the combined score. The JEE Main result will also mention the All India Rank and Category Rank of each candidate.
The final result of JEE Main is formulated after the April attempt on the basis of candidates performance in January and/or April attempt. The final result of JEE Main for candidates who appear in both January and April sessions is formulated using the best of two scores. Students who qualify JEE Main examination are then eligible to appear in JEE Advanced. The JEE Main score is used for admission in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and many other institutes.

From 2019, Class 12 marks are no longer used to prepare Ranks for calculating JEE Mains results. The final ranking is computed based on the total scores of the January and April sessions.

After declaration of the results, the data is sent to the respective authorities – CSAB/JoSSA/ State/ the specific institute for seat allocation and admissions.
The JEE Rank Card must be carried at the time of Counselling. The card contains the All India Rank, Candidate’s Name, Roll Number, Category-wise rank and total marks obtained.
